2. General

I process personal data only as far as necessary to run this website, answer enquiries and handle bookings for classes and studio time. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual enquiries), (c) (legal obligations, e.g. record keeping) and (f) (legitimate interest in a secure, working website).

3. Hosting

This website is built with the Hostinger website builder and hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus). When you visit the site, Hostinger processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date and time, page visited, browser and operating system) in server log files. Images and fonts are delivered via Hostinger's content delivery network. Hostinger processes this data on my behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Contact form, email, phone

If you contact me via the contact form, by email or by phone, I process your details (e.g. name, email address, message) to handle your enquiry. Form data is transmitted to me via Hostinger. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. I delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with, unless retention obligations apply.

5. WhatsApp

On the contact page you can reach me via WhatsApp. Using it is voluntary. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may also be transferred to the USA. Message content is end-to-end encrypted, but WhatsApp receives metadata. If you do not want this, please use email, phone or the contact form.

6. Booking via TidyCal

For booking private lessons and studio time I use the service TidyCal (USA). When you open the booking page, the booking calendar is loaded from TidyCal's servers, which transmits your IP address to TidyCal. When you book, TidyCal processes the data you enter (e.g. name, email address, appointment) and notifies me. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Transfers to the USA are based on appropriate safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). More information: tidycal.com/privacy.

7. Instagram

This website only contains a link to my Instagram profile, no embedded plugin. Data is only transmitted when you click the link; Meta's privacy policy then applies (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Dublin).

8. Cookies and local storage

This website only uses technically necessary cookies or local storage. If you switch on dark mode, this setting is stored only in your browser and is not sent to me. Legal basis: Section 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Just write to me at anja@coeuramics.de.
